The Story Behind Elevate
Active Duty
Founder & Operator
Elevate Colorado Springs
"After 17 years of active duty service, I know what it costs to perform at a high level — and what it takes to recover from it."
For most of my life, I tried doing the right thing. I built a career in the military, stayed disciplined, stayed in shape, and pushed through long hours, high expectations, and constant pressure. Like a lot of people in uniform, I learned to operate at a high level no matter what was going on physically or mentally. You don't stop — you just keep going.
Somewhere around the 15-year mark, something started to change. Digestive issues, fatigue, brain fog. Easy to brush off. But over time it got worse. The energy, clarity, and resilience I had relied on for years just weren't there. That led me to functional health — looking deeper at gut health, inflammation, stress, and how years of high operational tempo slowly wear a body down.
As a member of the U.S. Space Force based in Colorado Springs — home to some of the most mission-critical installations in the country — I've seen firsthand how few dedicated recovery options exist for the people serving here. The commitment to mission is everywhere. The infrastructure to support the humans behind that mission is not.
Infrared sauna and cold plunge became a critical piece of my recovery. Better sleep. Improved clarity. Reduced inflammation. But access was the problem — too expensive, too far, too public, not designed for the military lifestyle.
Elevate is the answer to that problem. Not a cure-all. A tool. Private, accessible, and built for people who live in high-stress, high-demand environments.
Simple. Private. Effective. A place to slow down, reset, and come back stronger.
